What is the name of your act? 

D’Mammies

Why did you choose this act? 

Our group consists of five ladies who have two things in common. Firstly, we are all proud mothers of girls who attend Presentation Secondary School. Between us we have seven daughters attending the Pres! The other special bond we have is that we go to know each other through our involvement in St. Mary’s Choral Society many years ago.  

We chose this act as a result of coercion from Siobhán Alley, and emotional blackmail from our children.  

Who is the biggest diva in your group and why? 

There isn’t one, because we are all actually THAT good!  

Who has been the most improved and why? 

Siobhán, after years of facing the stage she has learned to turn around and face the audience!  

If your group were a famous band or artist who would you be?  

The Spice Girls – we have a lot of miles on the clock but we are enjoying the reunion.  

Who is your biggest competition and why? 

We are too busy watching our feet to be looking over our shoulders.  

What can the audience expect from your performance in three words? 

Hard. Knock. Life.
